In Episode 36 of the Let's Talk About Fatherlessness Show, Sean Teis has a conversation with his former Youth Pastor, David Huston, from Foot of Ten Independent Baptist Church in Duncansville, PA. They have a great conversation about what it was like to mentor Sean as a young, fatherless teenager and about mentoring teens in general. Pastor Dave also shares his story of how his mom passed away when he was a teenager and how an individual helped encourage him in an effective yet simple way.

Pastor Dave grew up on a farm near Erie, PA. After running from the Lord for many years, Pastor Dave attended Pensacola Christian College where he surrendered to the Lord, met his wife, and graduated in 1990 with a degree in Youth Ministries. He and Beth Ann got married in 1989 and served as representatives for the college for two years after his graduation.
Pastor Dave and his wife Beth Ann taught at Blair Country Christian School in Duncansville, PA, from 1992 to 1994 and then served as a youth pastor in Tennessee for a few years. In 1997, Pastor Dave returned to Duncansville, PA, to serve at Foot of Ten Independent Baptist Church as the youth pastor from September 1997 until May 2000, when he became the Senior Pastor. Pensacola Christian College bestowed an honorary doctorate degree upon Pastor Dave in 2006. Pastor Dave and Beth Ann also started and run Salted Springs Youth Ranch, which exists to glorify God by cultivating relationships between horses and youth.
