From his youth he had one major desire in life and that was to have a family. After accepting Christ in 1999 at the age of 22, God gave him his second major desire - to preach the Gospel.
In 2001 the Lord fulfilled both desires in Pastor Keefer's life. In April of 2001 he met met his wife, Tonya and they were married in October of the same year. It was also in 2001 that Pastor Jayson preached his first sermon in Mulberry, Florida.
Pastor Jayson and his wife have served in ministry together now for almost 20 years. They have 3 beautiful children - Leah, Nate and Rhythm.
In July of 2017 led the Keefer family to begin attending Astatula Baptist Church. A year later Pastor Jayson began serving as Student Pastor where he served for 4 years before becoming senior pastor in August of 2022.
